Kelly Lyon

Kelly Lyon, ACE (nee Kelly Brickner) is an ACE Eddie nominated film and video editor specializing in comedy.  She edits stand up specials, including John Mulaney’s Emmy winning specials Baby J and Kid Gorgeous at Radio City, Emmy Nominated Amy Schumer Growing, and WGA nominated Yearly Departed.  Kelly edited many of your favorite parody commercials, digital shorts, and music videos for NBC's Saturday Night Live, and was nominated for an Eddie Award by the American Cinema Editors for her work on the SNL at Home episodes during the 2020 pandemic.  She edited Mike Judge’s latest stop motion animated comedy In The Know for Peacock, That Damn Michael Che Seasons 1 & 2 for HBO Max, Everything’s Trash for ABC Freeform, and even helped out on season 1 of Emmy and Golden Globe winning The Bear for FX on Hulu. Kelly edited the montage of political sketches for the Emmy Award winning SNL 40th Anniversary Special.  She has also edited for IFC's Portlandia and Cartoon Network's The Shivering Truth.

Kelly has edited many award winning shorts, including the Emmy nominated This American Life's "Videos 4U: I Love You", which won a Webby award for Best Individual Short Drama. Sincerely Erik won a Vimeo Best of the Year award. Sequin Raze won the Honorable Mention Short Film Jury Award at the SxSW Film Festival, and has since transformed into Lifetime's Peabody winning and Emmy nominated hit show Unreal.   Melvin The Birder won outstanding video in the PDN Photo Annual contest.
